Handel - Saul

Join the Exeter Bach Choir for a concert performance of Handel's dramatic oratorio - Saul. Handel's wildly exciting, operatic oratorio, starring witches, mad kings and huge choruses is rarely performed by amateur groups and this performance promises to be a thrilling one-off.

The Exeter Bach Society was formed on Monday 21st March 1995 by former Mayor of Exeter, Ramon Yeo and this concert was due to mark 25 years since that day. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was not possible to perform this event as expected in 2020, however, it is nonetheless expected to be a celebration.

There will be two intervals with the total estimated running time being 2 hours 45 minutes.
